I am a girl who would like to go to CR next year for 8 weeks..
Do anyone know about where to stay? Any good schools? Hotels? Or any kind of information about Costa Rica. Any one? Thanxs,

i run a school in playa copal costa rica.
we offer beach front accomadations, lessons, gear rental. we also have a hostel for longer stays on a budget. all our villas and the hostel have kitchens but there is a restaruant on site as well.
i am a PASA certified instructor, ex-school teacher, and certified usla lifeguard and EMT, so you are in good hands.

I would be coming for 4+ weeks and be by my self so i'm interested in a hostel idea
I was there 2 years ago and loved every second of it but i stayed at the place where they take you to the beach with the truck and would like to stay closer to the beach this time

You can also check out Nicola at Blue Dream Hotel...if youre taking lessons, the benefits to his school is that he uses helmet radios while the other school does not. The hotel is only occupied by kitesurfers, so there is great comraderie in the evenings. In addition, the hotel has a restaurant which is very nice and tasty food.
If youre staying long term...maybe think about staying up in LaCruz? That way you have the convience of food stores, restaurants and of course internet...there is no internet down in the bay. There are buses which run up and down the hill all day long and cost about $1.25.
