Wind forecast for Jan 2008. Switch the years to get an idea about averages. Wind is predominantly cross-on-shore. 9m is mostly used on the beach but the average weight of riders is way below 90. On light wind days you see mostly 12m.
Hello! Last season the wind in January was around 15-25 knot and only 3-4 days over 30 knots. All the time I used my 10m Rebel and my 7 Vegas was almost without work (I am 70 kg). The wind is not really on-shore, it blows around 45 degrees to the shore. So on-shore wind could cause problems with launching-landing only during high tide for beginners, but for others it's not a problem. Kiteregards, Vlad.
