I just came back from mui ne trip. What a nice place!
Anyway, you can hire taxi at the airport. I was offered $85, but after small negotiation it dropped to $60. Mind you this is 4-5 hours drive. Not very far, but because traffic is so slow it takes ages. So get car with aircon.
Make sure to go to wave spot. This is where I did most of my kiting.
