Hi, I'm flying to Boracay in about 2 weeks and I saw in windguru that in some days the wind is very good (18-20 knots) and other days its shows 14-16 knots. Is that accurate or should I raise/lower it in x knots? What is the wind statistics there in January? Thanks Ofir

Hi! The forecasts of Windguru and Windfinder for Boracay are not accurate. They usually show from 13 to 20 knot. And 13 knots could mean as 13 knot as no wind at all. Also 20 knot could be 30 knots in reality. The forecast for last three days was correct. We had 15 knot in the morning and no wind after 14 p.m. May be there are 80% windy days in January over 13 knots. Kiteregards, Vlad.
