The Master of the Ocean is the world's first sporting event combining surfing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing as the water sports triathlon of wave riding. This unique event is held for the 8th time this year in Cabarete. Yesterday the qualification for Surfing and Kitesurfing kicked off and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday we will see some great performances in the heats in all three disciplines. Especially the level in Kitesurfing here in Cabarete is extremely high and all the new young kids have amazing talent and no fear to pull out some great tricks and action. The event is accompanied by music and parties in the great set up of Cabarete. Will keep you posted.
