Which airline to Lima - baggage rules

Postby beb » Sun Apr 11, 2010 1:09 pm

From Europe going to Lima with a kitebag, which airlines have the best rules for baggage?
It looks like my two options are Lufthansa and KLM.
According to the website, KLM will let you bring one bag (23 kg) and then you pay 200 euros for another kitebag (since it is longer that 107 cm).
Lufthansa lets you bring two bags (23 kg), but let you bring a medium sportsbag ekstra for 250 USD.

This is what I found on the website, travel wiki etc - anyone have any experience with these airlines after they changed their baggage rules recently?

Hi,

Check with Iberia via Madrid.

By the way :
The only two direct carriers from europe to Lima are KLM and Iberia.

The others are via via....

PS: You can also forward the bag with DHL, FEDEX or UPS costs are quite the same...
