Im quite new to kitesurfing.
I have taken classes in Tarifa this spring, and I have also been there afterwards.
I thought the conditions in Tarifa was quite hard for a beginner, and it was very crowded when I was there.
Im going to the US next week, and will travel around the beautiful country for 8 weeks before I need to search for apt. in the US.
I was wondering where the best spots in the US is for a beginner. I have read a bit about Corpus Christi and Maui. Are these good places for beginners? Im open for suggestions all over the US.
This is my first post, so I hope I dont break any forum rules by starting a new topic.
Thanks in advance.

the idea of a forum is to start a new topic and get help!
Have a look at
www.kitebeaches.com 4500+ locations listed worldwide...
From what I know personally, I can recommend Texas (South Padre Island, Corpus Christi area) or Hatteras (NC). Should be also windy now in those areas.
Tarifa is best during summer and the thermal sideonshore wind (Poniente), the offshore wind Levante is not nice.

Definitely Cape Hatteras not only in US but the whole world. The place has shallow flat water for miles. May and June are perfect. 5 days per week of 20 knots average to be expected .
