Montego Bay is quite sheltered from the wind, but if you head over to Falmouth which isn't too far away you might get lucky, I definitely wouldn't bank on it though.

where do you launch in Falmouth? North of the village or west of it at the point?

Hi, we are kiting at Bounty Bay, which is a private beach east from Falmouth and on the same beach stretch as the Breezes (formerly Starfish) Trelawny hotel! Sorry, i just saw the post, July wasnt really great this year! Come back soon ; )
