Hi guys,
I am planning a Kite trip in January to Australia,
Does anyone know what the wind probability in Australia during Jan - March ?
where are the kite beaches loacated ? west/east oz?
what is the avrege wind speed in the locations ?
water temp? hazards?
and how much should a low budget month cost? (in US$)

Wind in Jan - feb is cranking in WA the further north you go the stronger it gets March it starts to drop off in some areas.
Budget depends on how your travelling and what star accommodation you want???
Heaps of cheap camping spots.
Cant speak for the East Coast as i havent kited there.
We do have the odd shark fatality & drop bears claim a few unsuspecting tourists but its worth the trip

Are all Australias coasts inhabit sarks, or are they just in someplaces ?
are there any good locations to kite whitch are shark free ?
Know that this question may sound odd, but it sounds like a real threat to me...

Mate, you're in more danger crossing the road than you are from sharks. I wouldn't worry about them.
(Drop Bears are another story!)
West Australia gets the more consistent wind, try Perth, Lancelin, Geraldton etc.

do you know what is the avrege wind speed in west Oz during Feb till March ?
(lower than 15 knots, 15-25, 25 +++)
and if there getting wind every day (like brazil?)
