Hi,
Im moving to Monterey, California from Copenhagen, Denmark as part of my education. Therefore I would like to know if I should bring my kite gear and if so what sizes? Or if I should only bring my paddle board?

bring ur gear! Monterey doesn't get the best wind or weather but Santa Cruz isn't far and they have pumping surf and good wind. Plus within a 3 hr drive u can be at some pretty incredible spots such as Sherman, Waddel, 3rd, & Pismo.
I would say the go to size for CA is a 9m but a 7-9-12 quiver is the best quiver for CA in my opinion.
