Where to go in October?

Hi All!
Me and my girlfrend want to go for a holyday for a week in the first week of october, with my kitestuff offcourse. We live in the Netherlands. I don't want to travel too far away, so no destination at the other side of the world wanted.
I'm thinking of egypt, the temperature is fine there.. But how is the wind there, and what is the best place, hotel, etc. to go to in October?
Or has anybody other suggestions to go to at that period?

Egypt have still a good wind in this time. There are a lot of nice spots and Hotels.
What you are looking for exactly?
If you like to have an individual holiday away from the mass tourism I can recommend you our Kitehostel in Hurghada.

Hi flyingtrunkie,

what about Cabarete in the DR. The wind is good here year round and you can find everything from flat water to nice waves.

I got stuck here a while ago because it's such a nice place and I'm now managing a litte hotel (Hooked Cabarete) for kiters and surfers. If you are interessted just check out your website www.hookedcabarete.com.

I 've never never heard of Naxos, google showed me some nice pics of the island; one to keep in mind! But for now i made my choice to go to El Gouna, Egypt. Thanks for the tip anyway! :thumb:
