I'm thinking of popping over to El Gouna for a week.
1. Is anyone there now? How's the wind? I read an old post of toby where he says you need to bring a 16 meter kite. I don't have one, and definitely do not want to go on vacation to a place that requires a 16 meter kite.
2. I'm thinking of the moevenpick. I'm thinking of bringing the girlfriend and she's still learning so a kite school comes in handy as well.
3. Is now a good time? I know the kite guide says this is a good windy time of year, but am I gonna be happy I went here and not somewhere else?
4. Once again, how's the wind? It's thermal right? I want reliable wind.
5. Any other advice?

not sure if I said 16m kite!
But, winds can be very strong, but also light! Better to bring all, since all strength can be possible!
check the forecasts...but you need to add some knots normally.
Now is the best time, best winds. People will be kiting there, but not masses...so it will be great!
Have a great trip!
