Are there any waves in the area?
Is there place to rent a surfboard?

The best case scenario would include....
hooking up with local kiters,
borrowing/renting a strapless board,
downwinders in good surf,
enjoying several beers.

We are located here at Cabarete on the North Coast where you can find the best surf conditons in the winter season. For kitesurfing we work together with Kite Club in Cabarete which is the best school in town. The owner John is a friend of us and they also have a Kite Club in Punta Cana where you can rent kite gear and meet other kiters. I am not sure if they also have surfboards for rent but for sure the have SUP´s. I guess to surf some waves there you have to be pretty lucky to get a good swell with the right direction as in the winter we get those North / North East swells which are great for us on the North Coast here. I will forward your message to the boys from Kite Club. Maybe they can give you more information.
