New Year trip... need advice

Hello,

I live in the states and looking to find a nice place that my wife and I can visit during new years, where i could go kiting as well. We are looking for a nice package deal, if possible.

I am only working with a couple of days (4-5 max).

What are some of your experiences during New Years? Where can I research?
