Perth WA- accomodation and spots

Postby mrgole » Sun Dec 11, 2011 2:14 pm

Hi guys!

In 10 days i am going to Perth for two weeks. I need some advice where should I stay! I am looking for some cheap accomodation (surf-kite hostels, rooms, appartment...)...Can you suggest any near the spot....
I would also like to know which spot you recommend in (around) Perth. Is it worth to go to Geralton and Lancelin?

Thx a lot

Hi mrgole,

It all depends what you like to kite (waves or flat water or both).
Consider Safety Bay just 45 minutes south of Perth. It has it all...
There are plenty of hotels, hostels and apartments to choose from. Ask the kiters there. They are very helpful.

Geraldton is ok; not more in my opinion. I would not travel that far.

The same counts for Lancelin. If you travel to Lancelin, watch out for the crazy old Swiss fart and stay away from him. You will see/hear when you go there.

Cheers
