Warm weather kitesurfing and triathlon training

I have taken 6 months off and want to find a place to be able kite as well as train for triathlons at the same time. The anticipated period will be May to Sep 2012.

I don't have much money and am a beginner kiter, so I would need somewhere with flat water, safe for single women, warm (of course), cheap to stay for a few months. And with triathlons, cycling is the main part of the training and I need somewhere which is also safe to cycle over long distances. Everywhere that I can think of for kiting and is conducive for triathlons is also very expensive (e.g. Sydney, San Francisco), and everywhere that is cheap and warm in Asia (where I know), is not safe to cycle due to crazy local drivers that is fairly typical of the developing world...certainly in Asia.

I am in Asia and my preference would be to stay within the region but I am happy to hear everyone's suggestions...are there any triathlete kiters out there (or kiting triathletes?)

Thank you and Happy New Year!
Kathy

Due to the period I would say everywhere in europe is good!
i.e. Sardinia in Italy, Gokova in Turkey, Tarifa or Fuerteventura in Spain are some good places...

by not on board
Just take care to protect your ankles. An inadvertant sprain a few weeks before your race can undo all the training you have done for months. If you find that you are progressing to starting jumps, just remember to grip those pads with your toes to keep the board on both feet.
