New kiteboarding/wakeboarding destination

Postby zygiskru » Wed Apr 09, 2014 11:06 am

Just found out about nice kiteboarding and wakeboarding location in Lithuania, so going to share with you as well.

It's called SVENCELE, they have a kiteboarding spot in lagoon, where you can find flat water as well as some waves. There's also container hotel 30 meters from the water. What is more, on the other side of hotel there is wakepark.

Everything in one place! Even tho, they don't have thermic wind in Lithuania, during summer you will get at least 3-4 days of kiteboarding a week. And the rest of the days you can enjoy obsticles in a lake with your wakeboard.

Since it's Lithuania, everything is extremely cheap. Hotel prices are like 12 euros/bed or 46 euros/container. In the restaurant you can have extremely good meals for 3-6 euros.

Anything that has something to do with west. North-west, west, south-west.

And since it's lagoon, on the other side of it there are some hot dunes. So, whenever west wind is blowing, it helps a bit and wind outperforms forecasts.
