Postby Harri » Mon Jun 03, 2013 12:14 pm

Hi!
Has anyone ever been in the surroundings of Ancona? E.g. Senigallia?
I'm planing a trip to italy in the end of August an would like to stay there. Any experiences or infos bout the wind?

Thanks a lot!

@ gvironda: would you prefer Toscana/Castglione?

Castiglione in my opinion is nicer
the "pineta" in the back is wonderful, and the sea as well. altought close to senigallia you have conero, which is amazing

in castiglione, you can do daily trips in the interior, in places like san gimignano, volterra, siena, etc
again, not very windy in the summer, you get some thermal in the afternoon, you will 95% of the time use a 12m or above
slightly more windy, due to a stronger thermal, is talamone, in the south of tuscany, a very famous and crowded kite beach in the summer
