Sailing across the S.Pacific....best spots?

Postby mrybas » Mon Jan 13, 2014 4:06 am

Hey,
I'm going to be sailing across the S Pacific over the next 9 months. The boat is currently in the Tuamotus, where I have found a few really all time spots. The general plan is a month or two in the Tuamotus, a few months in the Society Islands, Cook Islands, possibly Samoa, Tonga, and New Zealand. Can anyone recommend some good spots along the way?
Thanks, Mike
SV Hartley

I understand you are currently waiting around in Minerva reef - too bad we never crossed paths. We've had a great time kiting in the Tuamotus, Society Islands and now Tonga:
