Sailing around the world- wanna learn to kite

Postby sailingbaydreamer » Sun Mar 16, 2014 1:57 am

Hi!!

We are out sailing around the world in our catamaran. We are at the moment in Miami and will sail around the Bahamas, Cuba, Mexico, Honduras, Belize and Panama for the next couple of months.

I am really keen on learning to Kite- is there any one that can give me any tips on a good place to learn to kite??

Sounds like an epic trip!

Since you are in Miami...head down to Key Biscayne, Crandon Park, perfect spot to learn kitesurfing.
Wind forecast looks good the next days and get lessons.

You want already to be kiting going onto the trip, and not loose time ;-)

Maybe see you next week at Crandon!

And pls add new spots and picture to the kite spot database on www.splocs.com during your trip!

Cheers

hi, Ill be at miami first week of may, but before Ill be at tulum ( near cancun area)
and Im willing to kite there if I have wind...
so if you are there and want some tips I can give you some advise and lessons for free...
just be sure to learn, will be such a pitty to loose all those possibilities at awsome places.

enjoy.
