Hello,
We want to make a kite trip for the last 10 days of September. Zanzibar seems to be a good spot for September but I have some doubts because its a late season (mid-October is the end of the season). And also the graph in need2kite don't seem like an efficient time period for a kite.
http://need2kite.com/location/zanzibar/#whentogo
If you have any experience or knowledge about late September in Zanzibar, I'll be very happy if you share it with me.
Thanks!!

I was there in Jan. Although Windguru was showing 8-12 knots, I had 10 out of 11 days on the water. I just had a one day break. Morning with a 12 m Park, afternoon 10 m2.

Thanks!!! So, I think there are two beaches, Paje and Kiwengwa. Which one is better for September?
I looked it up on need2kite website and probably Paje is better because it is also suggested to kite in October at Paje but not for Kiwengwa. Correct?

well I don't know how scientific is my method but these are the last five years wind statistics for the time period that I want to spend at Paje. I am not good at analyzing windguru stats but it seems like a picture of "avoid!" isn't it ?

If it were me, looking at those stats, I would be looking for somewhere else to go
but that's not to say that is the best choice, as thermals could possibly come into effect
This is where you rely on other peoples experience of the area \ spot.
So far you had one say good & one say bad
I would ask the locals, but be mindful of their replies as they may have ulterior motives, i.e. run a business and they want your money
