Hello everyone,

I want to make a report after my 15-day stay in Mauritius in Bel Ombre and Morne .

Kitesurf school Kiteglobing
http://kiteglobing.com/fr/

Having remained seven days at the hotel next to the school the easy way was kiting here .
It is possible to kite in Bel Ombre, but this is of no interest .
Indeed, the current is extremely strong in rising and falling tides and there is almost no background in the lagoon at low tide. Moreover, in case of heavy rain, the river pours muddy water on the spot with a red brown color: (
The directors of the school, Maxwell and Katherine are very rude and take customers for piggy banks on legs. They are there to rip you off. They sold me a pair of slippers 50 euros instead of 25 euros. He never acknowledged his scam , but instead he told me that when we sleep at hotel at 200 euros a night, you can pay 2 times the price of gear : (
In addition, my wife took a kite during an hour : it lasted only 45 minutes as the wind fell and made no gesture of goodwill .
Only instructors are friendly.
The spot shows no interest in the waves because the reef has a circle shape and the waves do not occur at all. They are simply unusable .
The kite school provides security for 15 euros per day per person , but in the lagoon and reef before . So it is of no interest .
I seriously advise you not to attend the school which is to flee !

Better to rent a car and go to Morne which for me is the best spot in the world.
Flat water in the lagoon with sandy bottom , small waves at the club mistral .
Waves 2m little reef
Wave 3 -5m in Manawa
Camel and One Eye reserved for pros as Offshore and little background.

Club Mistral is great and I highly recommend it. Warm welcome, free and professional advice. Daniel and Ninja are modest , pleasant and smiling when they have a worthy level of professional riders . I saw Ninja rider One Eye is the future world champion in my opinion.
