Marsa Alam, Egypt - Where to go?

We are considering a kite trip to Marsa Alam in April, but where actually do we go?? North or south of Marsa Alam?

These are the alternatives I have figured out so far from google map:

1. North of Marsa Alam: Sea Secret Divers (and kite center)
2. South of Marsa Alam, north of Wadi Lahami: www.prokiteacademy.com

Where is the nicest place to go?

I can highly recommend option 4 and 3 (but don't know the other two options)

Great, thanks. Have you been to the tulip also?
At the moment we are considering either marsa alam or Cape Verde. Both are coming towards the end of windy season, so we're not really sure yet.

not been there myself, but heard some bad reports about mirage moon resort recently. And as far as I know, the kite station there is closed anyway.

wind is usually still very good at cape verde in April - and marsa alam is more or less year-round anyway (kite village is good including April)

made a mistake, thought you were asking about "Mirage Moon".. (don't know why I mixed it up..).
I can't recommend Mirage Moon (and the station there seems to have shut down recently) - but I can highly recommend the station at Tulip! (not been there myself yet, but a friend of mine)

The Tulip hotel itself is a typical, but quite good all inclusive hotel. So, nothing fancy, but okay.
