Windguru forecast says 7 days of Levante of 20-30+kn in Tarifa. Is this fake news? This sounds too good to be true.

when it says 30, expect 40-50 or more, you will have to move to other spots where it is lighter probably

there is palmones where most people go when it's too strong in tarifa. There is a very small flat area in the rivers estuary which is usually crowded and a lot of space on the sea with chop that is a little better than in Tarifa.
other option when it's too strong in tarifa is caños de meca. but there is no flat water, only waves.
or you can go to Rota if it's too strong even for caños and palmones. it's quite far away. levante is straight onshore or side depending on the beach and even weaker. no flat water either though.
I've been in tarifa almost last winter till April and windguru was very rarely wrong. the wind strength was sometimes off but when it said it was windy it was. especially with levante. poniente forecast was less reliable. I'm taking about 3-5 days in advance. more than that is never reliable.
