I am planning a trip to Dominican Republic in July, can anyone reccomend good places to visit and stay at? We're thinking about staying at Buen Hombre for a few days, but want to check out other places to stay at. Preferably places that aren't too expensive thanks

Never been in Buen Hombre, but heard it is great and wind is even better than Cabarete.
Though, Main Kiting action is in Cabarete. Fun place, some bars and fun nightlife.
Kitebeach pretty packed during summer season.
Las Terrenas is an alternative, beautiful water colors, flat water, relaxed village. Less wind than Cabarete.
Would be great if you could post pictures and info about Buen Hombre when you got back.
Have a great trip !

Nah, from what I've seen it's nothing but sexy flat glassy water my friend

I own Dare2fly Kite School and Vitamin D Cafe on Kite Beach. Swing by and say hi when you get here.

OK. No waves at Buen Hombre.
Is the water (at least in some areas) deep enough to foil?
