Hello,
We are considering Aruba for our next vacation in February. Fisherman’s Hut (Hadicurari beach) looks like a nice place as it’s mainly flat. But the kiteforum location page for this spot says;
There are rules at the Fishermen's Hut (FH). You may kite before 10:00 am and after 4:30 pm. The time between 10 and 4 is for the windsurfing school.
Can you confirm if that is still the case ? If you can’t kite between these hours at FH, where can you ride flat water on Aruba ?
Many thanks

that's very outdated info (like 2008) you can kite anytime of day at the huts.

Thanks Airsurfer, that made my day!
Would you say that FH is a nice flat place to ride or it's too gusty (from what I heard)?

If you are going to Aruba for a kite trip then I would not stay at FH (too gusty, wind shadows, off shore).
The best beach to kite from is Boca Grande but it is a 40 minute drive from FH.
Therefore I would recommend staying at the Kite Inn (5 min from BG). It is near the south east point of the island. There is not alot of night life near there but you can always drive over to the FH area for that.
Send Arnold a message and he can help arrange your trip (accommodation, car rental, side trips).
