The PM stays in outbox until the receiver reads it.
Not sure how strong the wind is in Ilha in the morning...ask your pousada!

When I was in that spot in December 2 years ago for 2 days, everyone was on 10-12's in the afternoon. It was blowing like 16-19 knots, starting around 11-12, but I was told that normally the wind is stronger. Was only there for 2 days so can't confirm if this is true. So try and take the 12 if you can, but if not, the smaller sizes will probably do for most days. Also, if it does actually blow 20+ every day like the locals said, why would you bother with a 12m for early morning sessions? After those 2 days in that spot, I moved on the Jeri and kited every day on my 9 from 11h-13h, and on my 7 from 14h-17h, and was absolutely destroyed by the end of the day and couldn't move my arms at the end of the holiday. Can't imagine adding an early morning session on a 12 to that routine - just relax for a few more hours and wait for the real wind to kick in!

But, depends on what you want to do!
If you want to do new tricks, a 12 with less wind is highly recommended.
With a 7 you will do few tricks only.

take the 12m just in case, but you should be fine with the 7 and 9m.
if the sky is clear all ready in the morning, you will have wind.
look at the link from Ocean View (above) which is a live weather station in Cumbuco.
IMO. Ilha do Guajiru will be a few knots stronger.
edit:
or... get in touch with Pousada 7beaufort, they rent out Core equipment, in case you don't take the 12m and its needed...
(PM me for the contact)
cheers
The PM stays in my outbox for some reason.
I do have an e-mail adress to 7Bft.
Are early morning sessions in NE Brazil enjoyable or is it often too gusty to be fun until around 9 in the morning?
I have sent you a PM...

Depending on Day and Beach 20+- to 30+-miles to the big day of 58 miles. Iron Macho or other groups do it ,ours was self organized.Varied conditions side on,side shore to side off 2-5+ft waves /wind swell and messy chop at river mouth xrossings
