Looking for ideas on a August 2018 road trip. Ideally somewhere warm where we can park a sprinter rv close to or on the beach. Dog friendly beach. Waves or flat water are both great. Leaving from keswick where we live and kite. East coast of USA or canada. Or inland lakes. Appreciate any help or ideas. Thanks. Cam

August is tough on East Coast USA, it gets so hot the thermals actually start to shut down. Best place is Hatteras which has plenty of RV parks, dog friendly, and excellent flats and ocean riding.
South of Hatteras will be too hot and no wind. There is hit or miss wind up to Cape Cod, which I think is actually good that time of year but up there the water is cold. You could do an east coast canada to new england kite road trip but it won't be very summer-like. Lots of cool spots, very beautiful, and some wind (especially if you can foil).
