Hi guys,
Which spot would you recommend for a 10 days holiday in middle america, starting 30th March till 8th of April?
My priorities are:
1. Wind.
2. Waves.
3. Secluded areas, without crowds.
Any suggestions? I was thinking about Mexico - Yucatan (Isla Blanca?) or somewhere in Carabbean (Cabarete - Encuentro beach...)?
But still the number 1 is my biggest priority - where I'm the most likely have tons of wind during this time?
Thanks,
Jan!

By "middle america", do you mean "Central America"? Just a terminology question. In the USA, we'd describe our central states (Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, etc.) as "middle america". If you're considering the US, then Hatteras Island (North Carolina) would be tops on my list of recommendations. Some would recommend South Padre Island (Texas). If you're looking at the Caribbean vicinity, I'd recommend Turks and Caicos for wind and low crowds, but you really won't get significant waves there.

Thanks!
I meant the division of the Americas -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_America_(Americas) ! So essentially Mexico, Carabbean, Venezuela and around.
Do you have some more suggestions given that? Yeah, waves would be nice but the non-stop wind is the priority

Got it! Thanks for the clarification (and the link). I'm learning new stuff all the time!!
In the Caribbean, I still like Turks & Caicos (although they are technically just outside the Caribbean Sea). The wind is usually constant, but not nuking. lt's usually lighter wind riding (12-17 meter kites). It's not as crowded as Cabarete, but it's more expensive (lodging food etc). Again, no waves. Others will have more experience in Mexico and Venezuela. Good luck!

In the Caribbean the best islands are The Grenadines... Check this web site
