Hello I need your help regarding waves on this spot Phan Rang in Vietnam . I am thinking of going there in February , mainly for wave riding.
Are there any good waves spots arround ? Or just small brakes? I can’t find any infos about waves
Thank you very much for your help
Best regards

about 15km south is a great wave spot, but when we have been there 10 years ago it was military area
and a special permission was needed to get there. We went with some aussi guys who "payed the army guys with whisky an cigarettes .

Check out:

Went there last year for 2 weeks. Strong but gusty wind every day. There is quite huge flat section and waves outside. During the low tide you have to walk out, if you don’t want to wait.
Those waves are not too powerful, if you fall down it doesn’t eat you nor your kite. Super good place to practice waveriding at least but it seemed that more experienced waveriders had fun too. Nice downwinders as well.
