Atlantic tour (France)

Postby Sebastian from DK » Fri May 25, 2007 4:06 pm

Me and a couple of other guys from Denmark are going to be visiting the Atlantic coast in France this summer. I have read great things about Karemma for flat water and La Torche for waves.

Are there any other spots worth visiting in that area or further south?

Hope that someone would give me good suggestions...

There are beautiful spots!
Waves, flat everything!

The area of Cap Ferret and further south, Ile Noirmentier, etc

You will have a great time. Specially the south Atlantic coast will have awesome waves. Thermal winds from W to NW, with about 10-20 knots.

Make sure to make pictures and videos and upload it to the network!

I am from this part of france, keremma is a very good place, wild place and flat water, there is also LE LETTY. LA TORCH and it s surrounding is good for waves but there too much people in summer. you can try PENTREZ for waves

if you like wild place with few people go to the north of brittany, go south to find more kiteboaders and sandy beach. there is a lot of spot but you just have to drive from beach to beach to find it

don t forget to bring big kite, like 16, the wind is not that strong
