All thats going on here is that Bens shorts are a little low because he just landed a double handle pass with a kite loop!

You can tell by the stoked look on his face !

Fat guys can hold down 16m kites in 25 knots.... Can You??????

E.J................... This ain't a skinny bastards sport,, no matter what the hype.
Big ass bastards can fly!!!!!!!!!
I wish I weighed a quarter of what I do so I could kite in half the wind and save half as much on smaller kites. The heavier you are the more wind and money you need to get the same amount of fun (seems to me).

Do you think he looks stoked? I kinda think he looks a bit cheesed off about something. But facial expressions are a bit hard to read when you are a bit fat anyway. A chubby 40 year old looking face is harder to read.

Seriously, how does weight affect performance?

I personally think that for about every 10kg in body weight, you need another 2 square metres of kite. eg In 17 knots, a 70kg guy can be powered nicely on a 12m while an 80kg guy needs a 14m kite.
