Could you guys give your comments about high end of these 2 kites? Did the 5th line encrease their top end significantly or it only helps to launch?

I frankly find the 9 a little full on (have the 2006 9 and 13) and I weigh 76kg. The 13 is a very different kite, depowers really well, turns fast. The 9 jumps much higher, much more inherent power. Friend kites the 11 and tried my 9, same comments. The 11 is like my 13, wide tips, turns fast, depowers really well.
He said, I quote, "she's nasty" when he tried the 9 (wind from 20 to nearly 30 knots). I like it a lot and kited tonight and wind was 15-22 knots it was perfect. In more than 22 knots it gets really full on.

40 knots on a nine?
lol.
I've seen someone release an 8m to the fifth line in less 40 knots and had the line snap. I really do doubt you can ride a 9 in 40knots.

I doubt that too. Probably yes, it is possible to keep it in the air and hardly control your edge. But I am talking about comfortable and fully controlable ride at its high end. For me my 2005 9 had its top at 30kn with my 78kg weight and 125 Litewave but it was the point when I had to ride at its full depower and edge like an animal in front of a butcher's. Didn't find it's nice.
Do you think 11 meets my requirements at 30kn? Will its 5th line be able to extend its range to comfortable 30? In 2006 I'll have 127 Shinn as the smallest. If I have to struggle with it like with 2005 9 at 30 I'd better stay with 2006 9.

The 05 9 is pretty nasty.
I prefer my 05 13m to it ANY day...
But then again, only time we get 9m conditions here it's REALLY gusty.

Ah, also, trimming the 5th line helps but I don't like flying the fuels that way they become twitchy.
