It depends partly on when you'll be here. Waddell on the coast will probably be your closest spot. I also see photographers show up at 3rd Ave (on the bay) very frequently. Both spots tend to have lots of action near shore. In the winter Half Moon Bay is a likely spot.

- Waddell Creek for wave riding
- 3rd Ave for Bay
- Crissy Field for gusty but gorgeous setup (under the Golden Gate Bridge) etc
- Sherman Island for fresh water butter.

Call / email us and we'll hook you up.

cheers guys for the help

not sure where I'll be yet other than flying into SF spending approx 4 days around there. GG Bridge I think is a must so was wondering about that area.
Then Monteray wedding is at Lovers Point so will be staying just outside Monteray (possibly in the town but not sure) again for four days

After that we're thinking LA 3-4 days and pos vegas / canyon before going back to SF for the plane home

If anyone thinks this may be too much can you let me know

Live2kite cheers mate will probably contact you nearer the time .. Call me stupid if you want but I take most of those locations are SF.....

Hey Ian,
Anytime chap. Let us know when you are here.
All of the locations mentioned are around the Bay Area, from 15min to 1.5hrs driving distance.
Your schedule could be a kiteboarding trip with:

SF - Bay Area - 4 days kiting at:
Crissy Field (GGBridge)
3rd Ave - San Mateo Bridge
Sherman Island - (Freshwater butter)

Monterey - 2 days
Waddell Creek (near Santa Cruz) - Wave riding paradise.

LA Area
- Multiple locations there depending on the wind

Vegas
- "secret" lake riding 1 hr from Vegas.

Not bad - will be fun ;-)

now thats what I call a good trip .....not sure the missus will go for ALL that but its worth a try.

Also if anyone knows any good FMX, skate Mountain, bmx surf spots etc would love to know them.Pointless going all that way and not looking up the local sports spots.

that "secret spot" sounds cool would really be interested in that!!!

See you in mid to late Sept then ....

cheers guys
