Hi all,
I can’t decide on which Wipika Indy kite to buy, the 19.5 or the 16.5.
I weigh about 90 kg, ride a 140 board in light winds around 10 to 15 knots.
All replies appreciated!

what is your experience level (this for safety)
How wide is your board 140 x 38 is much smaller than 140 x45.
I would go with the bigger one in those winds if you are comfortable riding powered.

If you are comfortable edging and riding with some power the Indy 19.5 would be a good choice for you.

Let me know how you like it... I have the 19.5 and 16.5... Killer upwind slices through with smaller leading edge... 19.5 turn amazingly fast! How'd they do that! Riding a kite that size but feels smaller... Great for those low wind and up and down days... And forgiving on Kite loops... In overpowered gusty condition... I trim in ride high tack, way... upwind slower, then have a great time boosting coming down in Sweet spot riding... The 16.5 will take you to the next level easily even faster turning...
Mauricio Pro 138... More wind... keep the big kite going for a bit and drop down to the serum 117... Hold that edge...

For 10 to 15 I use the 16.5 Indy I weigh 75kg, so I would say the 19.5 for 90kg.

I'm 72k and take the 19.5 in 8 to 15+... So go big 19.5...!

Thank's for all your comments!
I followed your advice and bought the Indy 19.5. I tried it yesterday for the first time and must admit it was perfect. It is fast, has tremendous lift and good upwind performance considering its size.
By the way, I am also very pleased with the Wipika online shop. I bought the kite online and have no complaints what so ever. Good support and delivery as promised.

Great to here... Excellent quality as well...
Had so many more great days on the 19.5. Feels like flying a smaller kite... If you think the wind will pick up...
Ride the low trimmed all out and trim in as it picks up... nice... If you reach high gusts... It'll take you up wind great... edge that board...kite heads to edge.
Pull in a bit of the 5th line to depower a bit further if needed. Works great!
In super light winds... 6-8mph. while waiting for more keep it moving side to side a bit... Like the to fly to the edge of windy. (High performance upwind kite characteristics...)
Riding with no whitecaps at 72kg... Interesting to try the Switch settings as well...
