Nice try, but there's absolutely nothing contradictory there. As my post says, I learned to WATERSTART with an instructor on a jetski. And I do think that's the way to go AFTER you have learned how to rig, launch, and fly a kite on the beach. My first lesson was on the beach, as with most kiteboarders past, present, and future. That was followed up by a walk into the water, body drag lesson. It's the only way to go. Only you would try to rip people off by making them pay for boat-assisted water lessons for hours on end until they learn everything there is to know about kiteboarding. Land lessons are way easier and have their own safety advantages.fokiten wrote:Ah,gonewiththewind wrote:I learned how to waterstart with an instructor following me on a jetski. Kite falls down, and the instructor rides down and relaunches it. As much as I hate jetskis, this was one time when I loved them. Fly to Hatteras and go for some jetski lessons from REAL. Get a cheap ticket on Expedia, and maybe it will be cheaper and more fun than loads of lessons with your current instructors.
You were saying?
LOL, it's one thing to dislike my style, quite another to be disingenuous.
It's time you stop pretending, Fo.
