as far as I know they will come out this fall. But I don't have further info yet. Maybe after this weekend.
But keep an eye on the news section today...you will see first images!

Saw one 2 weeks ago... does look very nice. It's designed for increased boosting over the Raven, with weight saving gizmos including horizontal seams on the struts. Overall feel of the kite is very precise & punchy

I'm not sure I buy into that reasoning. Horizontal seams allow a smoother profile. Better potential for boosting. The real reason, I think. Also the reason North stayed with horizontal seams. Its all about making the profile perfect and smooth.

Since according to testers who rode them the R6 looks a lot like Raven 1 (from a characteristics point of view, not looks) except for the better turning of the R6, I wonder how the Raven 2 rides compared to the R6, with the claims made by Naish. Last year I tested the R5 and didn't like it, for the exact reasons North changed it to R6.

I read the marketing info in the news section. I was really supprised that they didn't use battens on the Raven2. I think that the kites with "cam battens" are on to something. North, Slingshot, Windwing are on to something.
I like naish, but I'm stoked about the R6. I can replace my Rhino2s with a kites that have some grunt. I still love my X4 but I heard the Raven1 didn't have that much power. Well I'm looking forward to trying the Torch2 this weekend.
I wonder how many kites you could get if you sold a kidney?
