72, i'm sorry you are dissapointed so much by the interview.
maybe if you'd like to get one done by your favourite brand we could all come back and show you the same respect
maybe whilst you are at it you could show them the advertisement section and then they could take out a banner on the site to support the forum like everyone else who feels the benefit does.

Good stuff, Simon, thanks for sharing.
Thanks 72 for bringing it back to the top, so much. I would have missed it.

Any idea of the pricing for the kites? ie what is the premium going to be over the Yarga?

agree with Dax on this one....though I would like to see a time frame / price indication...
Pity that some find that them disagreeing with something or someone gives them the right to sabotage the forum. Juvenile behaviour. Let Toby run the forum the way he wants....

Although I don’t write a lot, I spend quite a few hours reading posts on this forum (especially during wind starvation periods).
So my 2c:
As someone else said in another thread, I find also irritating to have to scroll through sabotage posts. It is very immature and is a form of self justice, which never leads to anything positive in any society (I believe the forum IS a form of society with its own rules). If you believe some rules are not respected, there are civilized ways to deal with it; contacting Toby is one of them.
The question is: should this thread be here? Until an acceptable answer is brought, actions for removal are unfair.
1- Thread is started by a paid employee of a kite co. So? I don’t think it’s the first.
2- The thread could / tries to convince readers of the merits of the kite. So? Not 1st…
Is an interview an ad? Are there clear boundaries of when a post becomes an ad? hmm
I personally think that if a thread has interesting info to readers (in this case, an interview on the technology used in a new product) other than commercial sales pitch, why not.
After all would we want all the manufacturers to leave the forum? Or only Best, because they screwed up with HF?
