I have only flown the 11 (is the 8 ready yet?).
I (60kg) can fly the 11 from 10 to 25 knots (on 125 board).
Sweet spot with the 11 for me at 60kg 13-20 knots.

I think the 8 for you and me at 60/63kg will range from 15-30.
That is on the save side, I think you can hold it longer but over 30 knots it's another sport.

Hi, am the importer for South Africa, we will be getting the 8 in about a weeks time.

Have spent the last 2 weeks riding the 11 in winds from 15knots - 32 knots with big surf (+/- 6 ft sets avg 4 ft cross on shore conditions).

The kite is awesome BUT only if you get the setting right. when I first tried it out I had way too much "power" i.e not enough depower on the front lines and it was'nt great ...untill the wind died down to 14 knots. I have never had so much control when on the wave face ...this is an awesome kite for depower and wave riding. Am 78 kg and ride an xcelerator 127 x 42 xstyle (asymetrical rails for wave riding). Hav'nt tried the 14 yet which I am deid keen on trying.
