No Quick Time is not better. Stick with WMV almost every PC runs on windows so has the Windows Media Player - more people will be able to view the movies...
If your PC hasn't got 2000 or XP loaded you cant use/load Quick Time 7.0 (latest version)

That is excellent!
Love it, I felt every crash and laughed and laughed. Great footage. Good to see some riders going for it!

Yeah you can!
Search for Quickktime Aleternative on Google. Its great media player based on Windows Media Player Classic which plays QT7 movies and LOTS of other formats as well.

I know there are other players... I use Videolan to play QT7.0
But not everyone downloading movies knows what to do when the video doesn't play on their machine.
why should they having just downloaded a movie only to find it doesn't work, then go and search the net looking for codex and Players that may or maynot work on their PC. Standard windows player is on EVERY PC running windows and will play almost all WMV movies unless the file is damaged.
How many home users have Windows loaded...
