So let me know a little better.

With your thread you wanted to say something like:
"Where are the kiters who are a bit more intellectually similar to me?"
"Is here in this forum some kiter who does like more than chicks asses, drink caipirinhas and smoke dope?"

Well you have to options.
1) If it is like I say, then the title of this thread is WRONG. You should not use the word "Christian" at all. It is disconnected from religion.
2) If it is not like I say, then your whole chat is about religion.

If the option is 2) please go and get a life.

There's a fine line between being religious and talking to your imaginary friend.

But hey!
Wouldn't it be great if we could all just be respectful and tolerant towards each other and our different beliefs.

And if you can't take a joke don't become one.

Think for yourself.

Infidel? I wonder if Ghandi or the Dali Llama is one of those.

Love, light and peace.

BillyGoat wrote:First you need to define what a christian is according to Jesus Christ.

1. A christian believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of the
virgin Mary.

2. A christian believes that Jesus Christ died for his or her sins and rose
from dead after three days . ( Jesus defeated death ).

3. A christian believes that he or she is not good enough to get into
heaven and has recieved Gods free offer of eternal life by putting
their faith and trust in Jesus Christ for their salvation when they die.

4. A christian believes that all 66 books of the bible are the infalable
inspired word of God .

5. A christian believes in heaven and hell.

Some things christians don't believe

- Being a good person is the way to get into heaven. ( Nobody is perfect )
- Other religions.
- Going to church makes you a christian. ( Does standing in a garage
make you a car ).

Yes I am a born again ( Jesus stated that you must be born again to enter the kingdom of God, John 3:3 ) Christian and I believe everything that I just wrote.

Personally I don't think a lot of the other people on this forum are going to appreciate this thread. But I just could,nt let an oppurtunity to spread the good news about how to get to heaven pass by. It amazes me how many people on this site are concerned about getting killed when kitesurfing , nothing to worry about when you know your going to heaven.
Why did god make an imperfect world with imperfect people, did he do it on purpose or was he just practising and he's made a better one somewhere else.

This thread is for christians or for people who have christian values, oh yes and to avoid offending you guys... they must be kiters as well. quote]

This FORUM is for Kite surfers, just kitesurfers ......... not religion nor politics.

You have offended me by pushing religion in my face...if I want to get closer to god , I will crack open the good book ( not a H Heffner production )]
I may well be a christian, you may never know , thats my right to keep that part of my life ..PRIVATE.

Christians or people with christian values ....WTF is that supposed to mean or imply?
Some of us are those or hold those values but do not want someone pushing it in our face....does this mean that if we dont read this thread we are not christians or hold those values?

Nasty , just plain nasty.

If you read the name of the forum it says Kiteforum.com not Kiteforum4Christians.com or Kiteforum4parents.com or Kiteforum4pplwhowanttoshoveshitinotherpplsfaces.com.

Its about kitesurfing & kitesurfers. Nothing more, nothing less.

Its the common factor between all the folk who come here.
Thats it , not religion , not that I am bashing it , just defending my right to not have it pushed up to me & single out those who may not be christians , what if they are Hindu , or Buddist?
We leave all the rest of what makes us who we are at the door before we come in , that way we are all equal.

And If I dont make it to heaven at least I will be with all my friends & how bad could that be !!!!

RESPEK !!

HA

:kiff:

The point is PPL come here to practice the ancient art of flying kites.

as all that is off topic i shouldn't really be replying to that but as i agree with everything you have to say i AM NOW gonna state where i stand on these issues you have mentioned.. plus apply it to kitesurfing for the sake of being on topic.
vietkiter wrote: Ok Blown Away, I am struggling to understand the boundary of your vision of Christian utopia... please define for me what a Christian kiter is again?

Believe me, I understand what you are trying to say... you don't want to be indentified with the lewdness that has become increasingly common in every facet of our lives... but so many people are "Christians" that I am not sure it differentiate anything between good versus evil...
A christian kiter is one who doesn't drink, smoke or f***... if they do so then i would have just as little in common with them as a non christian who does this. I'm not a "christian" in the way that it is now viewed. Bush has reinvented the brand "christian" to resemble more of a cold blooded murderer that does satans work for him. Bush hates kitesurfing... he wants to destroy the world.. that ain't christian IMO.
vietkiter wrote:
a) Definition confusion... is a Crusader not a Christian?

The crusades were an act of satan done under the banner of christianity ... the crusaders were a personification of evil for the innocent blood they shed.
vietkiter wrote:
Is an infidel not a Christian from a jihadist's perspective?
an infidel refers to an unbeliever.. and is used in both muslim and christian terminology. At the moment it is the hip word that Jihadists love to use. Oh by the way there are many aspects of Al Qaeda which i strongly agree with. What's wrong with a Pan Islamic state?
vietkiter wrote:
Is Bush not a Christian talking about "read my lips"?
Bush???? He's a freakin cold blooded murderer!!! He's a worse terrorist than Osama will ever be. that monster is a disgrace to the cross!!!

vietkiter wrote:
b) As to practices unbecoming of Christians... isn't a ban on drinking part of being a good Muslim... in fact it was Christian liquor that ruined pagans like the Aboriginals and American Indians and corrupted Muslims and devout hollywood teen starlets... so are you ready to be an Aboriginal?
REAL Christians don't get drunk. Reasons why are all around us in society.. reasons why I don't drink AT ALL. I hate the stuff, It's ruined NZ. Our society has gone right down the toilet because of Satans blood. Yes the horrible christians brought that disgusting crap into America and Australia and destroyed the lives of the native people. It happened in NZ too with the Maoris.. they didn't drink either before the white man came. And no the Muslims don't drink either. No surprises there.. look what the stuff has done in the western world... cause of all sorts of crime and disorder and the Muslims don't what that filth coming and poisoning their own countries... i don't blame them at all. Hey i even hate money hungry westerners going to Iraq to make bulk cash... i enjoy watching them get their head cut off with a blunt rusty knife.
vietkiter wrote:
c) Do you have to be a Christian to be a good decent human being with good family value? The practices that you abhor most were invented by Christians... liquor, smoking, internet porn... aka Western civilization...
I hate those aspects of western civilisation. i like the technology and stuff like that but all the satanic stuff like alcohol, smoking etc can shove it. Jesus hates that crap and most of western society and feels much more at home with the "non christian" societies like the Native Amercian's, Maoris, and Arabs as well as people from the far east.

Now hopefully you know where i stand. The christian stereotype (ie murder, drunkard, kill everyone else, screw everyone elses lifestyle) that is branded about in society today does not apply to me.

Now those who wanna debate religion can continue to so in this thread whilst i will now inhabit my new creation.... the one with values more to my liking... no drinking, smoking, fucking etc.

I hate bush
I hate Crusaders
i hate alcohol
i hate drugs
I hate sexual depravity

oh yes and kitesurfing is no longer a western dominated sport... most of the main kitespots are in non western countries.... and non western people invented the kite... so shove it up your A hole demonic western society.

This is a crackup... hopefully my other thread doesn't offend them as much. The thread was actually calling christian kiters (or to be more PC kiters that don't do the dirty deeds).. I didn't call the ones that hated it. They can start their own thread. This is by far the most popular thread i've ever started.

It's a call to other kiters who don't drink, smoke or do the other stuff that is now associated with kitesurfing.
Got to watch quotes like this. People will automatically assume you’re judging them. Really nothing wrong with finding Christian kiters, but don't blanket others with judgment. I'm very Christian, but I'm also a Wine and Spirits expert. To bad many Christians would look down on me. Not too many people in my church know what I do for a living. Point is who if the worlds most famous wine maker (hint:JC). Where would JC hang is he was a kiter, I think in the parking lot. He hung with the people. Let others know that your a Christian, don't join them when your uncomfortable, but don't keep them at arms distance either. It's not our place to judge, if we preach then that pushes people away. How can you help others if you make them defensive?
