Alright so my first post here may very well get me flamed beyond all recognition but here goes.
My Girlfriend and I are just gearing up for getting into kiting and after browsing through tons of various websites and magazines she mentioned to me that there doesn't seem to bea lot of gear oriented towards women. After browsing around a bit further I had to admit she was mostly right. Is this just a lack of demand thing or are we just missing a a bunch of stuff?
I mean it just seems that even though this is an "emerging" sport, there are orginazations for women kiteboarders, and with powerhouses like Susie Mai around there would be more design oriented around the fairer sex.
I mean please correct me if I'm wrong. Any Opinions?

Naish has the Rose Thorn board
North used to have the Cindy Pro board (she now uses a Jaime Pro 'cos it's small enough)
I think it was Naish who brought out a seat harness for girls as well.
There's bits out there, but kites are kites, I don't think you'll find a kite designed for girls.

Friggin brilliant work by me. I'm really catching on to this computer stuff.
The LF "In the Pink" board. I've never ridden one - in fact I've never seen one. The upload is copied from the REAL website where these babies are currently seriously marked down. Since they are pink, I assume they are for ladies (although this "pink" theory clearly does not hold true for some kite companies..).
Good work with supporting the GF. The payoff should be HUGE for you.

There are a number of boards "for women" - basically pro women's signature boards, but boards and kites are not necessarily going to be any different (other than generally smaller sizes) for women.
Dakine makes three different harness models specifically for women... the harness is probably the most critical piece of gear where fit would differ between the sexes.

Yeah man I get that. Mostly she was just looking for stuff that had a girlish design. Obviously there are going to be a limit on the number of options on a kite but somehow I didn't figure i was going to escape the omnipresent pimpdom of gumball.
I appreciate everyones help. Know that you are helping some poor sap out there get laid.
