They still do that here!!! Unbelievably fkng rude to turn up on someone's doorstep to push that 5h!t down their throat.

I've tried all manner of things to get them to stop coming.

I originally used to try to rationally explain how rude it *is* that they turn up, but it's like they're stuck in this recorded track and nothing can budge them from it.

So, then I moved on to other methods......everything from answering the door stark naked to setting the dog on them....they just keep coming though.

I had that problem with the Jehovas and the Mormons until I answered the door with my M-16 over my shoulder, a beer in my hand, wearing only a pair of bike shorts. (was waiting for my g-friend)
They shoved some religous literature in my hands and left just shy of running away. They haven't been back since. I think they marked my house with something only visible to fundamentalist religous freaks....
