Its happened to me twice after a stack and ive had to swim back. once the bridle is over the back og the kite there seems no way to get it back.
Has anyone had this problem and is there a way to fix it (extra line like the ozone)?

NO !!!
Get another kite !
Or get a wave bomb thingy... That way you can ditch the fifth line - I just hope you kite flies with four lines, or it'd be a waste !

Yes and no, there are plenty of topics on how to minimise and recover from tumbling inversions, just do a search. Otherwise chat to your local kitesurf instructors, they can assist.

firstly, switchblades dont have 5 lines
secondly, this doesn't happen to me at all unless im way underpowered and having trouble keeping the kite in the sky

I've never heard of people having inversion problems on a SB but I've experienced it first hand on both the CB and contra. First pump it up rock hard and it shouldn't invert. But if it does grab one of the front lines and pull it in until it pops back into shape (being careful not to entangle yourself or the bar). I've done this successfully on a Contra in about 20mph winds.

Hiya, I have a 12m SB 07 and have had alot of fun sessions on it in mostly lighter winds. There's about 6 guys at my beach who use them and are all pretty rapt with them however there was 1 accassion where 1 guy crashed the kite and had to swim back a mile or so after an inversion. I had a chat with the guy to find out what happened and he said it just inverted after it hit the water. I checked the pressure on the kite by hand and found it to be floppy soft. The main thing to prevent an inversion is to have the kite pumped up hard. It has to be hard enuf to hold its shape when placed on its side on the sand. Otherwise it doesnt matter which kite u use ur ganna face this problem. For some reason alot of kiters like to under inflate the kite. Go figure!!!
Good winds

"happened twice after a stack"
that's not an inversion it just flipped inside out, inversion is when it happens in the air, nort on the water.

If we're going to get into semantics SQ, what do you call it when your bow kite flips inside out after it hits the water?
Solution? Sell it. Buy an Instinct.

The flatter the kite the more likely it'll pop inside out, if you don't know what you're doing. Getting it back only takes a few seconds. Having said that, I rarely see them happen.

You will need to learn how to fly the kite standing on your head.
Cause the bar will be back to front.
Its a normal thing.
