Two Vegas 06' for one R7 14m

Right now i'm riding Vegas 06' 14m and 18m kites as my big kites. I'd like have just one kite to cover the ranges of these kites.

Any solid opinions on the Rhino 07 14m? How's the turning speed compared to the Vegas 06 14m. Low end compared to the 18m Vegas?

Seems like lots of people are doing pretty well with a 14m as their biggest kite-mostly Contras though, which has that exceptional low end.

How's self-launching with the R7 in general? Can the standard sand on the tip method be used?
