We are also to blame for shopping for the cheapest product we can find and where do ya think thats made? Sorry for sounding so bitter but I am directly affected by this globalization, though it seems a little one sided to me :x"

If a local company could make it possible to produce a product and make a profit localy, they would.

Who, really , cares about the Olympics anyway?..with all the other crap going on in the rest of the world.
If you are an athlete , make a stand for your self and don't go. If it is your life goal is to be in the Olympics, then go and good luck.
Just PLEASE: If you win and have a speech, DO NOT THANK GOD for what ever...
...one sure way to get everybody pissed off!
including me...
