Just call and ask for Chris moore and he will fix it up for you.
Some of the guys that do the web sales are not the brightest dudes
KHK is very stand up business, trust me that was a mistake they were not out to screw you over.

I don't work for KHK and have never met the guys.
BUT... complaining on an international forum before trying to resolve the issue is b.s.
I know this b/c I did work for Extreme Kites for awhile and had people do this to me.
They usually did it without even asking me about the situation... lame.
Blatantly saying KHK were purposefully trying to scam you is pretty lame.
Is it not possible they made a mistake?
Have they simply blown you off since you contacted them?
Anyway, give it a chance with KHK before you come on here blowing the horn.
It's not cool imo attempting to tarnish a business over what might be a simple mistake.
Now, if you have had detailed discussions with them and they are replying - "F. U. as.swipe".... I would hop on here. Is this the case?

Yeah, Mul, you're going about this the wrong way....
Read the description - if what you get didn't meet your expectations, at least contact KHK directly before trashing them here. Mistakes happen. Give them the benefit of the doubt. Other than the wrong picture, it pretty clearly says 2007. The 2009 kites are out now, so you just overpaid for a 2 year old kite. Why didn't you question the difference in dates?

If there was a " mistake", fix it.
Selling 07 gear advertised as 08 gear, BAD mistake.
Fix it and we move on.
If they do not take care of it, well... bad for business.
Shit happens, .
..again,... take care of it, and all is well.

Doesn't sound like them .. I sold them product far back as 15yrs ago and they've always been straight up. Along with Barton Decker and a few others .. pillars of HAT.
...and god forbid, anyone would buy anything but a 2010 kite these days.. nothing before is flyable.

I had a problem with a certain company and they would not respond to me UNTIL I brought the problem up on the internet. They didn't care but when the problem was known internationally the admitted how lame they were and problem solved! Afterwords I deleted my post. Without this loud voice I would of been screwd and out 250 dollars! I am not saying khk was wrong but this forum and the bashing I posted helped me!

Regardless of the photo, it very clearly states that the kite is an 07. Do you expect us to believe that 1) you missed that, yet it is now somehow KKH's responsibility, and 2) that even if you failed to read the ad properly, that no alarm bells went off when you found yourself buying what you thought was an 08 kite for way too good of a deal?
C'mon.....KHK is a stand up business - it appears that you either made a mistake and are now blaming them, and/or you are trying to take advantage and work an angle.....
If this was a legitimate gripe any decent person would have contacted KHK directly first, not gone to the forums. You've been read like a book...

Like earlier responders said, why didn't you just call the shop and ask them what gives before bashing here?

Look at the Source All....
I don't know how familiar everyone is with this Mullholland character but he has been nothing but negative since day one on this forum. I don't know why he is so angry at the world but it is a little concerning to me....I'm talking "postal" concerning.
Anyways...sounds like a bit of an opportunist. Probably sits on his computer in his mom's basement all day looking for misprints and mistakes that he can take advantage of. God/Allah/Buddha forbid that he actually contact the store directly because that would mean that he would have to interact with another live human being without a monitor and keyboard to hide behind. And I think that really frightens him.
Kittyhawk is a great shop...keep up the good work guys and gals.
