Hi all.
I am looking to get a van for kitesurfing and am thinking about things to do to it to make it practical for kiting and everyday use. would be great to see some pictures of all your vans and what you have done to them to pimp them out for kitesurfing.
so if you have a van and use it for kitesurfing/surfing please share some pictures with me so i can get some idea's.
Happy kiting all.

I have a older Honda Odessey.
Perfect size.
Good on gas for the size.
Big enough to change inside after a chilly session.
Flat floor so it's great to sleep in on a road trip.
Middle seats come out in a beat and will stand upright when used
outside the van great for camping.
I can fit a long board inside.
I can run air conditioning in the front while I use heat in the back to dry out gear.
Will sit 7 for a road trip car pool.
7 ceiling/passenger lights makes it easy to load in the dark and camp.
At 160,000 miles and 10 years old...... it runs perfect. My younger Mercedes by comparison is a pain.... leaks, ingnition problems, air conditioner problems, inside door handles coming off.
German engineering my ass. I'll take a Japanese utility any day over that crap.
Easy as hell to service. Shop manuals available online. Took me 3 hours to do the timing belt and water pump. Old water pump was still flawless.
As for "pimping it up".....
I keep it really plain, dirty outside and decoy crap inside to put off thieves.

A work in progress
Contemplating putting a rack on top or leaving the top off all together.

I drive a toyota tundra crewmax 4x4. It gets around 19-20 on the highway and can easily drive on the beach. I put a tonneau cover on so the equipment is safe.
The great thing about kite equipment is that you dont need a van (unlike windsurfing)
