Training tips for one-handed wakestyle moves

Postby KOFury » Wed Dec 14, 2011 11:09 pm

This year recently started doing a lot of unhooked indy glides, Kung-Fu's, tantrums, whirlys and other one-handed tricks. But I've had to stop doing them because my shoulder always hurts after each session. I go to the gym every day and do tons of pull ups.

Anyone have any advice on how to strengthen your shoulders for one-handed powered wakestyle moves?

Work some single arm movements that put the shoulder girdle through a large range of motion (ROM) while under a load. Check out these exercises- they'll do wonders for your grip, shoulder, core, arm, leg strength and ability. Let me know how you do!

Thanks Matt,

Will start adding those exercises to the training regimen.
