Kiteboarders need help for school project

Postby Chinook » Thu Dec 15, 2011 1:24 pm

Hey everybody,

I know this is shameless promotion but we need it. It's basically a very cool engineering project to promote sustainable energies. All guys in the team are wind enthusiast, (3 kiteboarders and a few want to begin) so I had to put it on Kiteforum.

We have a project consisting of a wind-powered vehicle and we need money to further develop the vehicle (nonprofit). A contest for financing student clubs project was created by a Canadian bank. We need as many votes as possible to win, and get 4000$ that will go towards shipping the vehicle to our competition (around ~20 000$ to get a container shipped by boat to Europe). It would be really great if people could vote for the project so we can win the contest and take home that 4000$.
The project is called "VÉHICULE ÉOLIEN". You can vote here. It will ask you your email address to confirm the vote. I was assured that your email is not kept by the organiser.

Oh and sorry that everything is in french, it's Montréal... Thank you for your time!

Kiteboarder form Netherland, where are the best kite spots around Den Helder? I really want to bring my gear next year.
